Prince George’s County: Understanding Our Past’s Influence on Today and Our Future

Click here to register for this virtual presentation.
In 2018, Angela Simms immersed herself into the workings of the Prince George’s County Council for her doctoral dissertation which explored “Socio-historical perspectives on Prince George’s County’s Fiscal Precarity and Social Disparities.”
Dr. Simms’s work — and the larger fundamental questions which it raises and discusses – are crucial conversations for our residents, community leaders and elected officials to explore as we continue to move Prince George’s County forward.
Please join District 3 County Council Member Dannielle Glaros for a virtual event to hear from Dr. Simms and panelists including Dr. Charlene Dukes and Tonia Wellons.
