Pepco Relief Fund Information for Customers

Good afternoon Stakeholder,

I am excited to share that Pepco Relief Fund launched on Friday, July 18th and that the portal is now open for customer applications, made possible by Exelon and administered by our partners at the Salvation Army.

The Customer Relief Fund was established with our customers in mind. At Pepco we know that energy is a public necessity, and we also recognize the financial challenges facing many of our customers and communities. Pepco is committed to providing affordable, reliable energy across our service territory and this fund is an extension of that commitment.

How to Apply:

The  Pepco Relief Fund is available to eligible limited- and moderate-income customers. Eligible customers may receive up to $300 in relief. To learn more and begin the application process, customers can visit  Pepco Customer Relief Fund.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, a customer in Maryland must meet the following criteria:

  • Active residential customer
  • 60+ days past due
  • Carry a balance of at least $250
  • Household that is either limited- or moderate-income
  • Limited income: 200% of Federal Poverty Level
  • Moderate income: 400% of Federal Poverty Level
